Type 1, 2, LADA, MODY and Pre-diabetes?

There are 387 million people living with diabetes world-wide, and according to the National Institutes of Health, there are almost 30 million individuals in the United States with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, with 79 million over age 20 that have pre-diabetes.  These statistics don’t even touch on the number of people living with diabetes that  the youth of America and the rest of the world are facing, a number that is steadily on the rise and has been for years.

There are differences in the methods for treating the specific types of diabetes, however there are a good number of negative health-effecting factors that they all have in common. It has been proven that pre-diabetes can be reversed, and Type 1, Type 2, LADA, and MODY can be managed to a point where the individual’s health is actually better then the average American who does not have diabetes at all.
