Whether you are focusing on drinking the right amount of water, eating whole, nutrient dense foods, losing fat, gaining muscle, sleeping better, or any other thing that you are trying to accomplish in life, consistency is key to getting the results you are after.
Any time you take action towards achieving a goal it is a good thing, but it is a fact that if you take that action consistently instead of sporadically, you will get where you are going much quicker and more effectively. When you have a specific outcome in mind, just taking action here and there almost always leads to results that are unsatisfying and often cause us to stop trying as hard because we are not getting what we want out of it. This is a great form of self-sabotage.
Pick one small, attainable goal at a time, decide to stick with it consistently until it’s met, and move on to the next one. This is the way to create a sustainable healthy lifestyle… small, consistent steps turn into big changes!
